Health Insurance Carve-Outs (aka Management Carve-Out)Group Health Insurance can have a "carve-out", under the rules of most Insurance Companies. Businesses sometimes choose to insure a portion of their employees. The most common classes of employees to carve-out are Union/Non-Union, Management/Non-Management, or Salary/Hourly.
